@Jack-Pyle

Hi

I cannot replicate the 'dropped punctuation' issue.

The 'emboldened' underline is browser dependant, in Firefox it looks normal ie is given the same weight as the text, in Opera, Chrome and Edge it looks bold.

Examination of the HTML code, generated by Web Designer 19, for underlined normal text, shows the underlined text is not emboldened.

I always check web sites with at least the four browsers I have listed above.

The dropped punctuation issue appears to be related to using a 'web friendly' font or not. But there's an issue with the WD19 exporter - with a 'non web friendly' font, when previewing a single page, the punctuation appears fine. When previewing the entire site (as well as when exporting to the web server), the punctuation issue manifests. When changing to a 'web friendly' font, the punctuation issue goes away completely.

@Jack-Pyle

Hi

Which 'non web friendly' font are you using?

Open Sans (now all changed to Trebuchet MS). Chrome displays the site OK. Interesting issue with Edge, however: After the font change, most all the underlines, capitalizations, links and text color changes displayed fine, but some didn't. Then I displayed a given page and suddenly all the issues disappeared! Don't have a clue as to what was on that page that made everything else "OK" (the page in question is "about.htm")

Hi

. . . . Then I displayed a given page and suddenly all the issues disappeared! Don't have a clue as to what was on that page that made everything else "OK" (the page in question is "about.htm") . . .

This is most likely the browser cache finally catching up with the latest version - to ensure you are looking at the latest version after making changes use Ctrl + F5 to force a browser refresh.

. . . . Open Sans  . . .

I have no issues with using that font, it is the default for many of the Xara templates.
