Everytime I start up MAGIX Music Music studio and try to record or play something it only plays for about 50 nanoseconds of time and stops immediately. Help?

The question explains my problem. I'm using a Windows 7 HP TouchSmart³²º PC.

Really, 50 nanoseconds? how did you measure that? I know of a couple of appications that can do it but Music Studio is not one of them. Get serious, and ask a question in terms that are reasonable and make some sense.
