Which version and build number of Windows do you have?

Could be you need to right click the icon and 'run as administrator'

No. I tried that. It doesn't work.

I have the current version of Windows 10, although there have been a couple of updates since I first reported the issue.

@Steve.Ferg

Hi

. . . . "Unable to store information on your local hard disk. The disk may be full or read-only." My disk isn't full . . . .

Check you antivirus is not blocking access to the folders the program is trying to write to, depending on the AV software you are using the feature may be called Folder protection/Ransomware protection or something similar and you will have to add an exception/exclusion for the program to be able write to the folders.

You will have to check with the AV provider support web pages how to add exceptions.
