See this article to re-install the Microsoft runtime libraries - check which ones you have installed in Windows, Settings, Apps.

The link to the runtime downloads in the article will take you to the German version - the English versions are here

Thank you for your response.
I have deleted some of the recommended Microsoft Visual C ++ packages. I'm wondering if I should also delete those, that are marked in the attached screenshot?

Hi

Re-installing all the Visual C++ packages should not cause any issues however it is your decision to do so or not.

Do make sure that you have noted all the versions and whether they are 32 bit or 64, if in doubt install both the 32 and 64 bit versions - do not install the ARM version of the redistibutables.
