Error in module - Steam version

Hi team, I just installed the Steam version of Video Pro X, every time it starts I get the troubleshooting box stating. Error in module "(Null)" (load address: 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF) to address 0x000007EE2ACCD74 (Exception 0xc0000005 "ACCESS_VIOLATION")

The program appears to run fine but closing the error box kills the program. It is on version 15.0.3.144 with no obvious way to update it outside of waiting for a Steam update. Install is managed by Steam and you can't select any default locations or options on install. Also when closing the software it actually stays running in the background.

System is core i7 920, Win 7Pro 64, Radeon RX480.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Don't use Steam. Why some people insist on getting a program through Steam that is much better available directly from the manufacturer, I will never understand. Get it directly from Magix, it will be registered and you can get support from Magix if need be. New updates will be available directly from the program.
