Encoding Error

Every time I try to burn a dvd of a completed project using Magix Edit Pro 14 I receive the an encoding error stating that the burn has been aborted.  I am trying to burn a project which is made up of mpeg2 videos from a sony DR SR42 camcorder.  I am confused as to whether or not my video and/or audio files need encoding or not.  What am I doing wrong?  I suspect that there is a program setting I need to change but don't know enough about video editing/burning to know what it is.

Have a word with Magix Technical Support and get a syscheck from them. It's the easiest route to take.

You need to check for conflicting programs using your DVD burner; Roxio for example.  Magix has Burner Routines available on the support.magix.com site.  This always fixed my burner problems.

It's not clear how useful this magix.info resource is.  You should post your question at Boycalgary's unoffical MEP forum:

Someone will help you.
