I have Music maker 2023 Premium which I just purchased. My system is a Toshiba 2015 C55-C. core i5 5200. 8mb Ram. 64 bit. 2.2 ghz.
First off, is this system sufficient to run this program. how do I set guitar effects? Can I record backing tracks, play along with them and then record them?

@Steve-Petreshock Are you using an USB audio interface with its own ASIO driver to connect your guitar to your computer? These interfaces do the heavy lifting so the processor isn't as important. In that case an older i5 processor should work fine.
Then you would also need an VST amp simulation and a VST cabinet simulation. Amp simulations often already have a cabinet simulation included.
I have a mic and a guitar hooked up to my m-audio duo going into my laptop. I can play along with any jam tracks on YouTube or elsewhere, but don’t know how to record it or control effects. I wish there was a tutorial out there that walked me thru the process
