Make sure to switch the your program to timeline view. This way, if you use one of the preset intros/outros, you will be able to see every single component of the preset when you bring it into the program (visuals, audio files, title objects). They wil allocate several tracks. If you click on the title object, it will open the title editor and you can customize it. You can also delete the title object altogether after ungrouping it from the other components of the intro. (At first, the entire preset will come into the program grouped into one big compound object.) Just use the ungroup button (broken chain icon) or CTRL + M to do that.
