I want to edit about 30 seconds off a video. How do I do that?

Is this enquiry really referring to Digital Photo Maker? Probably not the best program for the job. You might want to check out Movie Edit Pro, the video editing program:

Once you've made your first steps, check out YouTube and enter "Movie Edit Pro" into the search field. You'll find tutorials on all the really neat and advanced stuff you can do with the program.
