Edit Pro 15 Plus freezes

Edit Pro 15 Plus freezes at random - no response to mouse. Must terminate program. Re-installed program twice - didn't fix problem. Used to work fine. Running XP SP3.

I have the exact same issue runniung under Windows XP X64. Magix can't get past a minute without hanging up... "Program Not Responding", necessitating a restart,

I am also running XP with service pack 3. Opening start screen just flashes to the main working screen for a split second then disappears completely. I re-installed MEP15 again, still did not work. Ran virus checks, rebooted still nothing. This is all after editing for several hours to burn a project, so very peed off right now. If anyone can help it would sure be appreciated.
