edit mode quiting when I try to access it?

Every time I have movie edit pro 15 plus up and try to go to the "edit" mode, the whole program just kicks off!!! I've tried letting it load before clicking anything, but it still does it! I can get a glimpse of the edit mode for a split second, but then it shuts off!!! It may be because I'm using the 30 day trial, but I don't think so. Why? please someone help me!

Hi,

Try this, if you haven't done so yet: Run the program, go to the "Help" menu and use the "Reset program settings to defaults" command that you will find there to reset the entire program to its default values and initial state. Now try entering and using "Edit" mode again.

I'm having the exact same issues with the Trial version. The reset you proposed has worked. I haven't been able to find the previous files though.
