DVDs I make for TV with Movie Edit Pro 14 don't play on TV.

Animated title appears, chapters/scenes show blank although they have individual titles but when I click one it just reverts back to the original menu screen. None of the chapters will play. I'm using DVD +R and a Sony DVD player purchased within the last few months.

I am having a similar problem, have menu and sub menu, sub menu will not play although chapters are set, menu will play. also when I try to use the skip to next chapter button it doesn't work on DVD, but did work in "burn" portion of program.

If I figure it out will post.

I finally got it here is what I did:
1. In edit, I added my chapter markers,
2. in edit, I then split my movie at the chapter markers
3. in burn, I selected advanced mode
4. Under "Menu Options" I choose "movie and chapter menus" with a check in image preview, numbering, and frames
5. Under "navigation structure all chapters where checked with a red check
6. I choose my menu backgound
7. I clicked on burn button (to the right of the word export)
8. when I choose to burn from the screen which came up another screen appeared which said " encode" "encode all" "use" "Use all"
9. this was the most important part of all choose "encode all" and it worked
takes about 1 minute for each 1 minute of the movie you are burning.
