Drawing Tool

Why is it so hard to experiment with note placement in Magix?  All I want to do is take an already existing note and change it so I get the note I want.  Is that so hard?  It might be the Drawing Tool but I have no way to access it.  What's even more frustrating is finding an answer to any of my other questions.  I understand that if I bought the full version more options become available but how would I know what they are?  It's not there is a comparison list of things available with the Trial as opposed to the Full Version.  Is anyone out there who actually knows anything about this program who can help me?  Thanks.

Not without knowing which program and version you are using and what you are trying to do in which part of the program.

Magix Music Maker 2016 Trial Version.  If I knew which part of the program to use I wouldn't have asked in the first place.  Apparently there is a drawing tool I can use to edit notes of instruments but I have no clue as to how to find it.  I'm only using the trial and so far I will never buy it based on confusing user interface, lack of easy to find references for specific questions and constant crashing.

The Drawing tool refers to the MIDI Editor pane you can use to create/edit MIDI music using the Synthesizers and Instrument.  You cannot write notes onto a score sheet, as some other programs, do to create music

Note: using the trial version you will have a restricted set of soundpools, instruments, synthesisers, effects and other extras that you get with the program.

I would suggest you read the installed LDF manual available under Help in the program, and watch this introductory tutorial by John CB most of the information is valid for MMM 2016..

I'm having the same trouble, I think.  I am trying to use the midi editor for MM2016, and it's either bugged, or totally counter-intuitive.  Is it totally different than MM17, or is it a bug?  Default mouse clicks are zoom, and something as simple as moving the notes seems impossible to do.

I keep thinking it's bugged, because how is zooming as a default -- even when you've selected another tool -- helpful to anyone ever?  I have to ctrl click to draw a new note?  Why?  And again, moving used to be an obvious process with the old version, but even selecting a note is a gawdawful nightmare, never mind trying to move it.

If it's a bug, how do I fix it?  If it's not a bug, wth?  The tutorial video posted had nothing on this.  Is there a tutorial on the midi editor itself?
