Did that and didn't help. The question is how much longer should I continue trying? The sad thing is I previously purchased this software and have it on this machine but couldn't get it to work and that's why I purchased a new version.

Did you uninstall previous version completely and from the registry?

I would use free Revo uninstaller and remove previous broken version and try again with anti virus and firewall temporarily disabled.
