Down mixing problems

I recently purchased Photostory Delux 2015 on behalf of a show that's 90 minutes long & have the following problems: #1. It's taking 14 hours to down mix into a MPEG-2 ... #2. Once it is made into a MPEG-2, within the first 15 minutes the video becomes distorted & displaced. I'm losing my mind here. Please help...

Computer specification
Windows version
What is on the timeline - video (HD?), images or a mixture of both, and in which format?

I have a Lenova T61...

My local drive has 197 GB of free storage

I believe I have the newer Windows

It's for HD, all photos with one 90 minute music mp3

From the specifications I can find for this model (released May 2007 ?) the laptop is below the minimum specification required for Photostory Deluxe 2015 to run properly and it is likely that this is causing the issues you are having.

Is this Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1 ?

Is it crashing at all or showing signs of overheating during the 14 hours it takes to render?
