does anyone know why when you record a video and you ply it back its not in sync with the audio.the visualas play back fast

Try to rightclick in the video track and choose 'Create new frame table'.

What kind of recording is that? Is that a capture from a miniDV cam or an analog medium? The problem might be due to dropped frames during the capturing process, which might be due to performance problems. Is it really Music Maker you're using? Maybe you can give us a bit more information about your computer setup and specs, the program/version you're using and what you're recording.
