This has happened a couple of times I will be doing a dj show and the music will come out very low quility almost like the vocals have been removed. And the only way I have been able to stop it is by shutting the program down and starting over. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so how to fix it
I haven't really used the software that much, but I have it. What format are the files you are using... are they consistently the same, if they are the same file type, do they have the same bit rate?
The only way I see this happening is if the bit rate or file type is different from one song to the next, if could be that the constant switching is using up to much memory and therefore requires the application and or computer to be reset.
Just a theory based on the information you provided.

Basically the bit rate is the sound quality factor. There can be a wide range in bit rates. It would depend on where the original files where encoded. You shouldn't re-code a MP3... even into another MP3 bit rate. MP3 is a low quality audio format meant for storage and transfer. Though it has been argued that MP3 sounds good, it doesn't sound as good as a WAV or FLAC file.
But, for this program, I think you might need MP3... more so you do not use a lot of storage space for music on your hard drive. In this case, if you have the original music files in CD form then from there you could import them and use a 192 kbit ratio for the MP3... that is a good size to sound ratio.
