Diegetic sound (sound/music coming from a source: TV, radio, etc...)

Hi everyone. I've made this little short film which somehow is a metafilm; so we are watching a film [normal/full screen] and all of a sudden we cut to a room where a guy is sitting in front of the TV watching that same film. So obviously this time the audio/sound/music need to be heard from a different perspective, right? How can I do that in Video Pro X? How can I customize/control the music/sound? I just want it to be heard as if it was coming right from the TV set. I don't want it to be heard as if it's a non diegetic sound, I want it to be heard as if it was coming from the source (TV) in the room.

Many thanks in advance

Hi,

By chance, a similar topic was discussed a week ago. See this.

Make sure to cut the audio clip at the right place and use this separate piece.

You can also right-click on the audio clip that you want to modify, select Edit wave externally, and try some of the tools in Music Editor 3. When you quit (upper right X), it will ask if you want to save, do so. The audio clip on the timeline will be then new one.

You might also want to try out some of the presets under Effects, Audio effects, Presets. You should have about 60. If you don't, then you did not download and install the extra content.
