Hi! I have a Panasonic PVGS320 and Movie Edit Pro 15.  I have the cable firewire and the usb connected both sides (one at a time) and is not working any way.
I downloaded the software and through online the update version.  But every time even before I downloaded the new version I have a warning something like: cannot connect device , I tried everything, uninstalled, installed, updated every thing and nothing work. Could you help me with this? My daugghter have a video as a project for tomorrow and I am working in the editing and then the transfer to a DVD.
thanks in advance

Does Windows recognize the camera?

If so, does Windows recognize it as a drive, such as a removable drive?

If it soes, when you open the Movie Edit Pro, go directly to the Edit Mode, then see if using the device manager you can locate the camera as a drive... if som then you can pull the video from the camera into the project window arranger.

If not, check with the camera manufacture to see if there is any additional drivers needed.

Most importantly is to have Windows recognize the camera.
