I am using a PC running the latest version of windows 10. I have used Xara for over a decade with very few issues. I have been trying for days now to import a large Word document (over 300 pages) into Xara so that I can format it to upload to a DIY publishing company. Once it gets to "updating document" it crashes every time. The finished book will be 5.5" x 8.5" so I formatted my word document pages to this size. Every time I import - crash on updating document. I finally went back to the standard 8.5" x 11" size in word and imported it again, this time with success. Now however, I have to go through the document to "fine tune" every page which I was trying to avoid doing. Is this because Xara can't handle importing custom page sizes for a document? Can this be addressed in a subsequent update? Any suggestions for the future? Thanks!
