datebase error

will a database error interefre with my music maker 14? when i click on it, it says database error and to check if its installed correctly. any ideas what to do? MM14 is running fine so i dont know if this will turn into a huge thing when i least expect it.

I had a similar experience after running a windows update on Vista, thereafter, I had to reload the software but did not help much, any way I was planning to change the OS, so I disposed off my machine and bought a new one with 64 bit windows seven with which it is working fine.
My sloution was a costly one and I don't think that it might help you but may be reinstalling the software may help or use the restore point to an earlier date when it was working fine.
