copy VHS to PC:VHS NOT DETECTED.

I have installed the Magix Program and the USb installer.
When I click on the icon to read the VHS video I want to convert, I HAVE A POPUP MENTIONED THAT THERE IS NO VHS SYSTEM DETECTED.
COULD YOU PLEASE HELP. I AM USING WIN 7

There is a whole bunch more information needed before an answer is possible.

If the program is not "seeing" the VHS deck then you have a connection or compatibility problem. Try plugging in the USB cable to a different port and see if the computer recognizes it.

I use an external Panasonic DMR-ES35V VHS to DVD transfer deck so I am not familiar with the USB setup from Magix. I can not imagine that a USB connection would be fast enough to transfer analog video to digital but I have been wrong before.
