Well, WAV is an audio file type and MPEG files typically contain motion video (plus audio). So, the two don't really quite fall into the same category and I wouldn't really call it a conversion process. However, being as how Movie Edit Pro can accept WAV files as an audio import format and can output various types of MPEG video files, I suppose the answer would still be "yes".
