If you have a full version of Movie Edit Pro 14 (be it retail or download version), you can export to a whole variety of common, standard video file formats via the "File" menu => "Export movie". None of these require any additional payments, except maybe MPEG-4 (as in actual MP4 container files), if it's the classic version of MEP 14. AVI just requires the right codec to be installed on your system that you actually want to use for the export. AVI definitely doesn't require any license fee or anything.
