Content Catalog

Does anyone know how to be able to download any graphic from the Content Catalog? I am on the fourth subscription year, and until now I have not been able to use items from the content catalog. I have contacted costumer support, my ticket gets escalated, but I always end up giving up as can never get it resolved. Anytime I try to use anything from the catalog I receive the same message. "Unable to download file stock#####.jpg Please check your internet connection". My internet is working fine. According to the Options Settings, Xara & Graphic Designer uses the system wide proxy server setting, so it wants me to make some changes. My internet is working fine, if I make any changes to my proxy, I am concern that it will screw my connection. Any suggestions? Is there a way to get the content downloaded to my pc instead of dealing with this inconvenience? Thanks in advance.

@Francisco-Garcia8754

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I cannot replicate this issue however check the following:

  1. Internet options are set as shown below

    Windows 11

    Windows 10

  2. Antivirus/ Firewall is not blocking the program accessing the Internet, and/or the Folder/Ransomware feature is not blocking saving of the file.

. . . . According to the Options Settings, Xara & Graphic Designer uses the system wide proxy server setting . . . .

Can you post a screenshot of this dialog box.
