@kplugarno

Hi

There are several sources of receiving update notifications each with a different solution for stopping:

  1. Emails: Login in to your account at magix.com by clicking the My Account icon

    and select Info service and uncheck subscribe to emails

  2. In program - check the option Hide news in the Program settings, Options tab

  3. In Windows settings, Apps - locate an uninstall Magix Cloud if you do not use it

This will remove most of the messages - note if you upgrade the program Magix Cloud may be re-installed.

Thank you John for your response. I do not wish to stop receiving emails from Magix, I wish to contact them by email. The options in Support do not address my problem. I have paid to renew my update service. To date no notification of that payment has been received from Magix. In the meantime, emails arrive from Magix urging me to update. I need to contact someone in Magix, provide order number etc. and have this impasse resolved. KeithR

@kplugarno

Have you actually tried ALL the steps that John suggested? With what result?

There is no email address that anyone can give you since these messages are created automatically. It would be well worth you signing into your Magix account, going to My Products and checking the details there, I think, especially about the dates of Update renewals.

Hi Jeff, your tip to check details in My Account was spot on. My Update Service is current. I have not used this facility before. Thanks for your help. By the way, I have been using Photostory for a number of years now and was able to communicate directly with Magix in the past. Like a lot of places, being able to deal with a human is becoming a thing of the past. Keith R
