Hello,

You need to be a little more clear about what you want.  The whole purpose of a contact form is for someone to send you a message by email.  What are you really trying to do?

If your contact form is not working then it means there is a mistake in tags or attributes. It could be HTML or PHP.

If you know how to use HTML then it will be much easier to find out mistake. Otherwise please visit these two website take a look at the HTML contact form code compare with yours and do correction or just copy the HTML/PHP codes once again.

Hi George on the contact form there are spaces to input your email address, and subject, with space to add comments etc, on other sites I can fill the form in and press send, all the content then gets uplifted to the site, on my site nobody can do this. Unfortunately I'm not  that well into computer tech so I'm a little stumped. thanks for your help.

Thanks nihon94 I'll try this and see what happens, but I don't even know what PHP stands for and HTML is all foreign to me, terrible not understanding simple terms isn't it?

Thank you for the clarification, now I have a better understanding of the problem.  How are you creating your form, are you using one of the forms "widgets" in Website Makeror are you creating it on line (using on of the "forms" companies and trying to copy and paste the code into your page?  Or are you trying to build a form from scratch?

Hi Chris,

I actually use the PC based version (Web Designer MX) but both applications have similar functionality.  Give me a couple of hours and I will do a quick video showing exactly how I put forms on my web sites.  So far I have never had a problem.  The video won't take me very long to make, I just need a couple of hours because right now I am in the middle of a project.

Thanks George for all your help, sorry I'm such a novice, but I'd like to get my site running properly, and I thought using a widget would be easy.

Hello Chris,

Here is the video I just finished.  Have a look at it, and if for some reason it still does not work on your site, send me the url for you site by private message, and I will have a look to see if I can spot why the form is not working.  If this video is not specific enough to the version you are using, tell me that as well because for $40 I will just buy the version that you have and do the same thing using the same software.  I need to launch another site anyway so the free hosting, domain, and email is worth it to me.

Good Luck

George

ps. By the way don't apologize for being a novice we were all novices at some point.  Kudos to you for even trying to do this stuff and knowing when to ask questions.

It is ok once these terms were also same to me. It seems your are being well taken care by George. That is good.
