any one know the average bpm of tracks played by djs in your run of the mill night club?

I think it depends on the genre of music generally played at the club.

According to Wikipedia "dance music" (in general) can range from 120 BPM to 200 BPM, and I'm sure there's examples outside of that range. You'd have to look up specific genres to get a more exact estimate.

while i prefer dancing to deep-house/minimal (120-130 bpm)... there are many who like trance music (125-145 bpm)
