Choppy Previewing In PhotoStory 2014 Makes Precise Editing Impossible

I had been using PhotoStory_on_CD_DVD_9_deluxe for several years with few problems. I find myself extremely disappointed after upgrading(?) to Photostory 2014 Deluxe. The extremely choppy playback in preview mode makes precise editing all but impossible. I now have to do the editing in PhotoStory 9 and then burn the videos in PhotoStory 2014 because I lost the ability to burn videos in PhotoStory 9 after the upgrade(?). Playback in Version 9 is still good but 2014 is useless.

Additionally, the "marker" and the "Time Line" in PhotoStory 9 moved in preview mode to allow you to see where you were in the video, new version does not. Again, making editing significantly more difficult.

I tried to re-activate my old version but your system refuses to issue a new key code. All I get is "0".

VERY dissatisfied.

Occurs during preview playback.

PS: It would be nice if you included PhotoStory 2014 Deluxe in the dropdown box for "Product Selection"

Hi

This is a user forum not Magix support.

. . . .I tried to re-activate my old version but your system refuses to issue a new key code. All I get is "0". . . . .

That usually means you have exceeded the number of activations allowed (3) for the software - you need to contact Magix to ask for the activation counter to be reset.

Are you editting any HD video in the project?

John

Update:

Magix support got back to me the same day!! Suggestd I update the drivers for my graphics card ... DOH! Seriously, I know I had updated them within the last 6 months!!
