New here and to this product. Looking forward to learning its web design capabilities.

After installing the software and launching it a Blank window would always open separately and I would close it. I came to realize that it is the "check for updates" window. I have uninstalled and re installed the program but the "check for updates" option in the help menu always just opens a blank window and does not connect to anything. I also learned online that there actually was in fact updates to my version but it was not showing them. Any solution?
