Changing page length stretches everthing

Encomm wrote on 4/27/2021, 8:29 AM

Hi,

I have been trying to vary some of my page lengths, something I was able to do previously by selecting the dotted line at the bottom of a page and dragging it longer or shorter as required.

Now when I do this all I seem to be doing is stretching everything - resizes pictures, resizes the banners etc.

Is there a simple way to return to my previous methodology ? I cannot find it !

Kind regards and thanks in anticipation,

Brian

Hi

The precision method is to change the page length in the Page options dialog which appears when you right click the page to get the option.

Hi John,

Thanks for your response. This I have also tried and it always stretches the whole page, increasing photo, page and banner sizes. It seems as if it has been grouped and all moves together, as stated this did not happen before.

I suspect there is a glitch somewhere but I cannot find it.

Regards,

Brian

HI Brian

The only way I can replicate this is if the Auto-fit to page option is turned on in the Page Options settings.
