Hard drive based cameras don't require any kind of recording/capturing procedure. They create files on their internal hard drive, typically MPEG-2 compressed data. You will just need to copy those onto your computer's hard drive and import them into the Magix software. Depending on what Magix program and version you're using, there might be different things you need to consider. Just try it as per my instructions and contact Magix support if you hit problems.
