Cannot get any Visual

I cannot get any visual (video) on my computer from my VHS player (using RESCUE MY VIDEOTAPES) but I can hear and record all the audio. I have a cable loose that looks like it should go somewhere (its the circular one from the USB) but there is nowhere for it to go. Any ideas?

I would not be an expert at this but the round connection sounds like the s-video connection which would bring you picture if connected to a scart connection with an s-video socket. has it several pole holes in it?
