Cannot download content from online catalog

Web Designer Premium  18.5.0.62892  DL x64 Aug 11 2021 running on PC with Windows 10 Home

I am having trouble downloading anything from your Online Content Catalog. I get an error message every time:

I have tried turning off Windows Defender, no change. I generated a dltrace file, but not sure how to get it to you.

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums, so not a contact for any Magix staff and I doubt very much whether your trace file would be useful to anyone who posts here.

I think the error message suggests a problem with the Magix server so I would suggest you wait some hours and then try again to download what you want.

If you are still unsuccessful please email infoservice@magix.net with FULL details of the problem, including your screenshot of the error message. But do bear in mind it is the weekend and it may be some time before you receive a reply.

Thank you for responding. However, I have had my copy of the software for four or five days now and I have experienced this problem on multiple days. It has not cleared itself. I looked at the trace file, and was able to read most of it. What I saw were server timeouts. That may support your observation, but over multiple days--it's doubtful.

I would welcome any other ideas...

Sorry to hear the problem is continuing! If, nearly 24 hours later, you are still experiencing this then I think you need to follow the earlier advice and email Magix. I very much doubt whether another user can really help with this.

One other thought: I wonder whether the "confusion" of your apparent multiple accounts might be giving rise to this problem?
