After I finish the project and go to the BURN instruction a message that says tha the burner is not recognized appears.  Then it adds the message that I need a DLLAV32.DLL version 6.1.124 or higher.  I went to the support page and apparently downloaded the updae burn rutines, both downloads suggested in the support page, and...nothing.  I cannot burn my project and I am really frustrated because I used to do it easily with my older computer that had the Windows PX.   According to Windows, the Windows 8 and Photostory 10 are compatible. Any othe idea to burn the project?  Cri-cri

Hi

. . . . According to Windows, the Windows 8 and Photostory 10 are compatible . . .

Not according to the Microsft compatability checker here.

The recommendation is to upgrade, which I would also advise.

The issue is with Windows 8 and how the DVD drives are enumerated - older software versions cannot see the DVD or BD drives.

All is not lost though - you can select the Image recorder option in the Burn dialog drive box to create an ISO file - a perfect image of the DVD structure - which you can then burn to disc using a program such as Nero Burning ROM or if you dont have such a program, then Imgburn which is free - do look out where you get this from many sites have download managers and added extras..
