Can't publish to Magix Online from WebDesigner 9 Premium

jeff.sprehn wrote on 10/4/2013, 10:41 PM

What I CAN do is:

Export all of my web designer 9 files to my local drive then use FileZilla to FTP upload them to my Magix Online website

Works fine.  website works fine.  Life is groovy, apple-pie and chevrolet.

What I can NOT do is:

Use the "Publish" button feature in Web Designer 9 to publish/upload my files to MOW.

I am using the correct userid and password (the same userid/password pair that is being used successfully to do the FTP)

Hi

Check your Windows firewall settings - they may be blocking Web Designer 9.

Wed Desiner should be allowed Internet access.

As it turned out, my problem was the McAfee online access scanner.  To publish I need to temporarily disable McAfee virus protection, do the publich and then turn McAfee back on
