Can story be copied directly to your computer or a USB? Max.length?

1.) Can the Photostory be copied to a USB or burned to DVD only?

2.) If copying to USB is possible, do you recommend a maximum length of time? ( I have about 2,000 photos plus music, plus added effects. Will that be too much for 1 show? (There would be a lot of work involved & I don’t want the program to crash on me.)

The answers to your questions:

Yes, the completed story can be "copied" to USB but the process is to first Export it to a drive on your computer (check the options on the Export screen) and then copy the resulting file to your USB stick.
"How long is a piece of string"??? The answer to your question is impossible to give, I think. I suspect a slideshow of even 2,000 plus images, with music, may not create a file anywhere near as "big" as you might expect. The only factor to be considered is that you have enough free space on the chosen USB!

I make mine anywhere between 4 - 8 mins and definitely no more than 10 - 12 mins long, breaking the shows up by topic.

Any longer and the viewer will get bored and lose interest - if you have ever sat through a Powerpoint presentation you may know the feeling.

This does limit the number of images to be shown as you need between 3 - 5 seconds visible duration not including any transitions, for the viewer to take in the whole image.
