Can someone help?useless edit software

Vista machine/movie edit pro 15. All it does is lock up after 2min of edit,then I have to start the task mgr to stop it. I did re-install TWICE. I ran every spyware/malware/virus scan under the sun. The PC itself works fine, the edit software is the only thing that doesnt work. Its worth mentioning that it did work flawlessly before..Please help. Im at a loss..

movie edit pro needs a lot of memory ram in order to work propely, you can try first leting the pc manage the virtual ram , and if it dosn`t work try to add more ram cards in to your computer
