I've not got your program to test, but the screen shots on the Magix site show a user interface very much like the 'Storyboard' mode of Movie Edit Pro where the length of objects is shown by min:sec:frame numbers under each thumbnail. In MEP you can shorten the length to a single frame to get time lapse effects. You right click on the mm:ss:ff numbers to bring up a 'Display duration for the current object' window with the option to apply the setting to all objects in one go. Though video is generally show at 25 or 30 frames per second you can probably get away with having each of your images shown for two frames eg 12.5 or 15 fps. There may be a system setting for the default duration of image imports -- set once and forget! -- maybe under 'File' >> 'Program settings...'?
Is your question asked prior to purchasing the product? Most Magix products are available as free trial downloads. I'd very strongly recommend you try before you buy and particularly that you try Movie Edit Pro (Plus version). It can do auto slide shows as well as the full range of video editing.
