Hi

Thanks for the full message, that plus your original error message would suggest that either:

  1. graphics card drivers have an issue

    or

  2. there is an invalid setting in the driver/screen settings eg you have the graphics card resolution set to a higher value than your monitors are capable of

    or

  3. there is a pending Windows update

Try the following:

  1. restart the computer ie Windows button, Power button, Restart

  2. check that the graphics card driver are up to date and that the correct resolution is set for you monitor(s).

@George-Greco

In addition to what @johnebaker has written, when I did a quick Google search on the specific error code the consensus of opinion seemed to suggest this code points to a problem in your system (Windows) files! In other words, this is a problem with your computer rather than with the program. If you have some reasonable level of knowledge about computers AND are willing to have a go at potentially solving the problem yourself, this Microsoft article will guide you through the process of using a feature called DISM to analyse and resolve the problem. However, be very careful to follow exactly the process given; failure to do so may result in your computer not working at all. 😭 If you are at all unsure, the help of a qualified and experienced computer technician is your best bet.

One other thought: in the forum for a completely different, non-Magix product, a number of users whose computer includes a NVidia graphics card have reported various similar problems following a recent update to the NVidia drivers. The solution suggested by the manufacturer of the non-Magix software involved is to completely uninstall the existing graphics card drivers, restart the computer and install a "clean" (freshly-downloaded) copy of the latest drivers from the NVidia site. This seems to have solved the problem for the great majority of those users who have been affected.
