I had to change my computer and now I am unable to burn my slideshow to a DVD. The error message says it cannot find a burner. I downloaded "Burning Routine Update 2010 but it still does not work. I am using W£indows 8.

I would not expect to have to do this, I think the issue is related to Windows 8 as there are many reports of DVD drives not being recognised. According to Microsoft this version is compatable with Windows 8.
Was this computer brand new and purchased with Windows 8 preinstalled and is it the 32 bit or 64 bit version?
What make/model is the computer?
What make and model is the DVD drive? Have you tried updating the drivers for it?
Does Photostory see the DVD drive if you put a blank disc in to it before starting Photostory?
