Can Magix movie Edit Pro Konvert AVCHD to a normal dvd

I have bought a Panasonic video Hdc-sd5,and my question is : can the video files AVCHD be konverted to normal video files, if it is so I will buy Magix movie edit pro. (Sorry my english is`ent very good)

Hi there,

This can certainly be done. You can use AVCHD as source material and still output to standard video DVD (MPEG-2/standard definition) that will play on any common DVD player in the end. So, using AVCHD source material doesn't constitute any kind of obligation to output to a high definition medium, if that was your question.
