Can I remove scene recognition once it has taken place?

I left on automatic scene recognition - silly me - and I transferred a pop concert - 2.5 hours into MAGIX Video Easy - I now have 1792 scenes which is a little much to cope with - I have not edited the video in any way - can I remove the scene recognition without recording the whole VHS tape again?

HHS tape, is that from a SD- or HDV-camera ? Then you have 2 or 3 AVI- or MPG-files? Drag the file(s) with the mouse to the Timeline, that's all. (though, I don't know Video Easy)
