Can I multitrack record a band using Music Maker 16?

I really like the editing and mixing functions of MMaker, learned a lot on version 10..and considering buying Music Maker 16.  The tutorials and promos don't describe the recording abilities.  I record from an external mixer (to stereo track), and want the ability to monitor playback while multitrack recording/overdubbing.  Perhaps even handle a multichannel device someday to record more than just the 2 stereo tracks separately someday.  What can v16 do for me?

Hi,

What you are upto is feature of DAW, software like Samplitude or Ableton, Cakewalk, Sony Pro, Cubase etc.  available in the Market.

You can only monitor recording like this, check the answer

Music maker record one track at a time.(if I am not wrong)

Friendly advice instead using money in purchasing software several times invest one time and buy Samplitude or any other as you like.

Or if you insist to buy Music maker and want to use your composition in home use or commercial use then Music Maker 16 Premium is much better than Music Maker 16. I had MMM 16 but upgraded to MMM 16 because it got more features.

Copyrights License has changed from Music Maker version 17 and other Magix Products be aware of it. No more commercial usage. Have to buy extra license.

Hope this answer will help you.
