camera shake

On a boat recently and got rather as lot of camera shake. Is there something I can do to stop this please - in my video program I mean

Hi Heather,
there might well be something, just depends which exact program you have. Type in a one liner to confirm, as the progs do vary a bit.

Ok Heather,
try this. Open the program and load the file onto the timeline. Place the cursor onto the video track, the top one usually, and depress the right mouse button. In the menu that appears you will find something called image stabilisation. See if that will help you.
