Burning DVD

I have tried burning a DVD several times . When I try to play it back on a dvd player I get an error that says dvdvhas no playback feature. Any ideas or suggestions?

Can you play the finished DVD on your computer?

What settings did you use for DVD burning?

What brand and type of discs are you using?

Have you tried a different brand of disc?
