When I try to burn DVD I get failure / encode error. Just a loop slide picture show, no music. New Memorex DVD+RW. Magix 13 Deluxe. HP Envy Laptop, Windows
Hi
We need more information in aprticular your computer specification, what format the clips are on the timeline, what settings you are using for creating the DVD.
Do you mean Magix 13 Deluxe do you mean Photostory on DVD 2013. AFAIK there never was a version 13.
Can you also post a section of the error log showing the steps up to and including the error message.

Thanks for the error extract that was useful.
The project is not particularly large, so the movie will only be in one VOB after all the encoding and packaging has been done - the log indicates this has encoded OK.
The error would appear to be occurring during the encoding of the DVD menu movie prior to creation of the VOBs and other files needed for the DVD to function correctly.
Which menu template have you used for the project? Some have been known to intermittently throw an error during the encoding phase.
Try a different menu template and redo the burn again - because the burn has already been done at least once - you will get a message box pop up saying some files exist and ask you if you want to Use, Use all, Re-encode or Re-encode all. Select Re-encode all.
