Browser Compatibility

Xara Designer Pro X

I just 'upgraded' from Web Designer Premium to Designer Pro X following an email promotion which included a large number of Templates. I used a template that I liked and produced my new website www.lakehavadrone.com - all was well as I was previewing in MS Edge. Once uploaded I checked in Google Chrome - all is good - then Firefox - what a mess! I have tried to disable and clean up the effected areas but it appears to just make it worse. I foolishly hoped that all the templates would be browser friendly, but that appears not to be the case. Any ideas how I can clean up for Firefox before I start all over again - without a template! I suspect some code in the header, but that's above my pay grade. Thanks.

Unfortunately not all browsers are created equal, Chrome has issues with sites that are not using the https:// Internet protocol, Firefox can have caching issues and Safari some display issues.

With Firefox check that you are on the latest version and after, updating the site, that you force a reload of the site using Ctrl + F5 several times.

If you hit the Safari odd display issue there is currently no fix.
