Bought MM15: no instruments are available

Hi there,

Bought MM15 yesterday, wanted to toy around with it today, but none of the intruments are available, I get the following message:

'The file <path.OGG> has been moved or deleted and cannot be used'.

I didn't move or delete anything, I just installed the program. How can I solve this?

Many thanks!

When you say you bought it, do you mean the download or the CD version?

In any event, it would benefit you to read some of the previous posts.  They will answer many of the questions you are likely to have, such as this one...

I bought the download version btw.

Edit: followed the instructions, but the folder is empty.

It sounds like you might not have completed the downloading process.

In MM-15 go to the HELP menu > Update program/Upgrade functions > Online Update...

Have downloaded the one which was pointed to in the confirmation email; ónline update can't find a thing.

This is getting quite frustrating now.

Your frustration is understandable.  Many people, including myself, have had this type of problem in one form or another.  MAGIX doesn't seem to be interested in doing anything to correct the issue.  But, don't give up.  It is fixable.

You may want to read this previous posting:

If this is no help, I'd suggest calling MAGIX tech support.  That seems to be the quickest way to get results.  Do not bother emailing tech support.  It takes too long and they seem to give the same useless responses over and over.

Lol, now the soundpools are completely empty and no instruments are visible whatsoever.

Anyway, you need to download the individual soundpacks (takes a long time), extract them and there you go.
