AVI sound not working with Magix 14 plus

I loaded a video that is AVI and the sound is not working. This AVI video and soound works fine with windows movie maker. But when I play it on Magix 14 plus the video is ok but the sound is like a machine gun.
ANY SUGGESTION if this is a problem with Magix 14 plus?

Hi there,

What's the audio codec on those AVI files? Where do they come from? Maybe the source material is somewhat problematic. Can you possibly upload a sample file somewhere (YouSendIt.com or TransferBigFiles.com) and post the link here. I could check whether they work on my end.
